purple/garnet in color with aromas of cherry, tea and vanilla. The palate is medium-bodied, full of red cherries and spice plus an intriguing candy-like finish that is something like a raspberry Jolly Rancher. It's even more enjoyable on the second day (or decanted) as it fills out with more body and flavors of violets and cocoa.
