Haven't heard of Children's Creative Project?!

CCP has been bringing arts education to Santa Barbara County students since 1972, growing from a small volunteer program serving 200 children into one of the region’s most impactful arts organizations. Today, CCP reaches tens of thousands of students each year through hands-on workshops, live performances, and artist residencies in music, theater, dance, and visual arts.

CCP is also the organization behind the beloved I Madonnari Street Painting Festival the first street painting festival of its kind in North America, inspired by a centuries-old Italian tradition and held annually at the Old Mission Santa Barbara. For nearly 40 years, the festival has transformed the Mission plaza into a vibrant open-air gallery while raising vital funds to support arts education programs throughout Santa Barbara County schools.
